Quick Review and Rating
Quick Review
When I first requested the key to play this game, I think I was drawn in after watching the trailer with its hand-drawn art style — which I personally have a soft spot for. So... yeah, love it.
Honestly though, I can't remember if I noticed at the time that this game had a "Suika"-ish concept.
Quick info about Suika Game!
In case you're not familiar, the term "Suika" itself seemed to explode in popularity over the past few years ever since a game called Suika Game aka Watermelon Game launched on Nintendo Switch. I don't own a Switch myself, but I know just how massive this "genre" became. A lot of fan-made games and similar titles popped up after Suika Game blew up, which is why I referred to it as "Suika"-ish above.

1. Mechanics & Gameplay
- Controls: The controls are extremely easy to learn and understand. You simply move your cursor left or right inside the paper bag, then click to drop the bread/pastry that appears. Over time, the bread/pastry you drop will merge into a different bread/pastry when it meets an identical one. The game also displays some keyboard controls, but personally I mostly used the mouse over the keyboard.
- Game Loop: This is a casual, lightweight game — not the kind where you're frantically chasing a high score. Well... although of course no player wants a low score either. Hehehehee. And in this game, there are three themes: La Tradicional, Dia de Muertos, and JapoMexa. Each one plays the same, with no timer to finish a round. So you're only limited by your own ability to stack the bread/pastries inside the paper bag.
Is it boring? I don't think so. For this genre, the game is pretty entertaining, even if one round can vary a lot in length. Personally I'd last about 20–30 minutes per round, and it was genuinely fun because I kept thinking, "What bread/pastry will I get next?".
So... even though the concept is monotonous, the game loop doesn't actually feel boring.
- Difficulty: It's not hard. Seriously. There are options to make things easier for the player, like orders from customers that come in from time to time — which can reduce how full the paper bag gets — or also "shake the bag," which lets you shake the paper bag when it gets too full. When shaken, matching breads/pastries might merge into a new one, giving the paper bag some breathing room again.
So yeah, it all comes down to your strategy in arranging your stack of breads/pastries.

2. Visuals & Aesthetics
- Art Direction: They use a hand-drawn art style, which I personally love. On top of that, they also went with a "Cartoony" font style — probably intentionally, to match the hand-drawn aesthetic.
- Optimization: Runs smoothly. Though I was a little confused at one point. Maybe it was intentional? But on my screen it felt slightly "stuttery" — yet when I watched my own gameplay back, it seemed totally fine... Throughout the gameplay it looked like a smooth 60 FPS... CPU, GPU, vRAM, and RAM all appeared to be in good shape too...
- UI/UX: Looks great! Everything is easy to read... Large text... The transition from one bread to the next is easy to distinguish... So all the features are easy for the player to see at a glance without having to stop and carefully read what's happening in the game.

3. Story & World
- Pacing: This is... a casual game. A lightweight game. A game best played when you have a lot of free time.
Huh? Why's that?
Because even though a round can end quickly or stretch on for a while, once you get hooked and there's still space to drop more bread/pastries, you'll do your best to keep managing the stack and stay in the game.
So... the pace is really up to you. For me, it felt just right. Not too long, and not too short either.

4. Audio & Music
- Sound Design: The sound is fine. Not distracting, and it supports the experience of playing the game.
- Music: Honestly, it seems like there's only one track per theme, and it fits the theme being played.
Monotonous? Yeah...
Boring? No.
So... even though it's just one track per theme, it doesn't get boring to listen to over an extended play session...

5. Replayability & Value
- Price vs Content: This game is affordable. 74K IDR, and on sale it drops to 55K IDR. So with three themes on offer, it feels fair. One theme works out to roughly 25K — that feels reasonable and not overpriced at all.
And even though the game is basically repeating the same core concept, for 74K it feels pretty solid. Commissioning an artist even once might run you 50K or more, and here you get to enjoy a game with beautiful art like this that's genuinely entertaining — so the price feels just right.
- Post-Completion Content: Personally, I don't think this game ever really "ends." I personally got up to around level 10–11 on the bread/pastry shelf, and that was satisfying enough. Didn't quite reach level 12, but it's okay. Maybe the game does have some kind of ending once you hit a certain score... maybe?

Closing
If you're familiar with the "Suika" game concept and enjoy light, casual games that are addictive without requiring you to rack your brain just to find some interactive entertainment... I think this game is a solid pick. The price isn't steep either — set aside the cost of three meals and you can already buy this game at full price. And you'll also be treated to a beautiful hand-drawn art style, along with a delightful variety of breads and pastries that are genuinely a feast for the eyes.
That's all!
